Thank you for visiting my site. Who am I? My name is Phil, and I love exploring our nation, the good old United States of America, by way of a road trip. Nothing is quite like getting in the car or RV and seeing the countryside, famous landmarks, and historic places with your family. By trade, I work in the school system, however, one of my hobbies is discovering new places, examining maps, and planning our next adventure. Over the past several years, we have seen many great things, including over 26 of our national parks, several historic landmarks, and other landmarks and points of interest in our country. My intention is to share some of these experiences with the readers through narratives and images. In addition to telling these stories, my desire is to also share tips and tricks along the way.
Although much of our travels are in the family 5th wheel, our experiences can help anyone as they make their own family memories. I urge you to take time to travel, whether your kids are grown or are still around the house. Traveling together helps to form bonds and create memories to last a lifetime.
The Road Travelers Blog serves as a place where families can get ideas, be inspired, and research the “Great American Road Trip”. We are just beginning the site, and hope you enjoy its content as we add stories and helpful articles.
